Update July 2020 – Mhada announces lottery for 24 houses at Nashik.
While the lock-down persists across the state of Maharashtra, MHADA (Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority) announced lottery for 24 low-cost houses in Nashik.
These houses at Nasik will priced between ₹13 lakh and ₹20 lakh and have sizes between 452 square feet to 648 square feet area.
The location of houses for which lottery will be held is at Kalanagar in Nashik.
Date for Mhada lottery is 10 August 2020 at Nasik.
Application process has already started and you can submit the same latest by 30 July 2020, so hurry up.

MHADA Lottery Mumbai 2019 is intended to provide homes for the common man at affordable rates. The houses will be sold by Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) via lottery for 217 houses in Chembur and Powai by 21 April 2019.

Update 8 April 2019 – MHADA Lottery Mumbai – Lottery for 217 homes date shifted to 2 June 2019 (previous declared date was 21 April) This is due to the upcoming elections and code of conduct.
Update 4 March 2019 – the lottery for the 217 houses in Chembur and Powai will be declared on April 21, also the e-auction of 276 outlets in Mumbai will be on April 8 (few of them are in Virar and Vengurla)
Out of the 217 houses, 47 houses are for Middle Income Group (MIG) while the remaining are for Lower Income Group (LIG). The 46 houses for which the MHADA will declare its lottery are in Powai while the rest are located in Shell Tower, Chembur. Among all the houses in the lottery, one is worth ₹56.63 lakh while the rest costs between ₹31.54 lakh to ₹39.64 lakh.
Update 11 Nov 2018 – the lottery for the 1,384 houses will be declared on December 16 (Advertisement given 3 Nov 18, distribution of application along with the collection of applications, will begin November 5 onward)
MHADA Mumbai Declaration by 21 April 2019
MHADA house prices slashed by 25 to 30 per cent.
MHADA houses situated at Lower Parel priced ₹1.95 Cr and ₹1.45 Cr will now be available at ₹99 lakh.
And houses priced ₹31 lakh now be available in the upcoming lottery at ₹22 lakh ONLY.
The 146 homes will be sold at 70, 60, 50 and 30% of ready reckoner rates for higher income groups (HIG), middle income groups (MIG), lower income groups (LIG) and economic weaker sections (EWS), respectively.
These are surplus apartments received from builders as part of the development control (DC) rules
Also, the prices of the 2441 MHADA open category flats which remained unsold in Nashik (1150), Aurangabad (918) and Nagpur (373), will be reduced by 20% to 47% and will be offered under open category. If the flats still remain unsold, then they will be given for police housing.
IMPORTANT NOTE : Home buyers will receive a sale deed, instead of an allotment letter And you will not be able to sell the flats for five years.

Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) will be selling about 10,532 homes in the Maharashtra state. The date for Mumbai lottery is August 19.
Out of these Konkan Housing and Area Development Board, another wing of MHADA is coming up with a housing lottery of 9018 houses in its jurisdiction.
Also the Nagpur division of MHADA will be selling another 1514 homes in its Nagpur jurisdiction.
Konkan Housing and Area Development Board:
The Konkan Housing and Area Development Board lottery includes Thane, Virar, Kalyan, Ambernath, Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri areas.
It is one of the biggest housing lottery by the housing authority of the Maharashtra state.
The lottery will be held on August 19 for both the areas, while forms will be available and registration will begin from July 18.
Of the total 9018 Konkan board homes, 3937 are under the ambitious Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY).

What is Application date for MHADA lottery Mumbai?
The online registration for the MHADA lottery will begin on MHADA official lottery website from 2 pm of July 18, registration will remain open till midnight of August 8.
Applicants can start filling their application forms starting from 2 pm of July 19 before midnight of August 9.
The EMD amount to be paid before August 10 via different modes as indicated on government website, including internet banking.
Applicant Eligibility Criteria is as follows:
1) Applicant age must be over 18 years at the time of registration.
2) Applicant MUST have a Domicile Certificate proving their stay in Maharashtra for last 15 years.
3) Applicant to submit Income proof of financial year (average monthly income excluding reimbursement)
Economically Weaker Section – Up to Rs 25000
Middle Income Group – Rs 50,001-Rs 75000
Lower-Income Group Rs 25,001 -Rs 50,000
High-Income Group – Rs 75,001 and above
4) Applicant MUST have a PAN card

Domicile certificate, Income proof & PAN card are MUST document for submission of application.
How to apply for housing scheme?
Step 1
Log on to the MHADA Official Government Lottery Scheme website.
Click the link MHADA Lottery Mumbai 2018 for registration and login.
Step 2
Click on Register on the lottery portal.
You will have to create a login username and fill basic information like Name, Address, Gender, Contact details etc.
Step 3)
Make sure that your mobile number is in working condition and you are in range to get an OTP.
Step 4)
Once your basic registration is complete, you can then login online.

Now click and select the scheme you wish to apply for and add personal details such as your income group, reservation category and applicant type (joint / individual etc)
Enter the scheme code and Shortlist your location.
Provide your permanent address, complete bank details. Press Confirm to complete the process.
Step 5)
Now you will get payment options.
Please generate payment slip.
print the receipt after form submission, then sign it, then scan it and upload it again to website (use payment option to upload), after that online payment can be done.
Deposit as mentioned plus non-refundable amount of 448 Rs (400 Rs + GST 48 Rs) need to be paid during online application.
You can pay the application fee by making payment through demand draft (DD) or online banking options like debit or credit card or NEFT/RTGS using your banks net-banking.
Step 6)
You will see process completion and get confirmation.
Now all you have to do is wait for the lottery results which will be declared by government.
