Tp link’s wireless routers are best known for their stable wireless performance & long range which is the most determining factor for your Home or Small-Business WiFi Network.

Now when you hire broadband internet connection from Broadband ISPs (Internet Service Providers) Like Hathway, ACT, Tikona, Airtel Fibrenet, MyWorld, Nextra, Siti Cable, You Broadband, Spectranet etc. you need a router with RJ-45 port which is called as Ethernet Cable port, TP link router models I have selected for comparison will work for these above ISP’s.

Since it was for my home WiFi I went to some of my friends to see the same routers working fine, as well as checked the WiFi range they are giving.

Improvements in Tp link tl 841n Upgrade (my expectations)

• Inclusion of CCA Technology:

  The Tp link tl wr 740n has is the Clear Channel Assessment technology which allows the wireless router to scan channels, determine which ones are being used to avoid possible channel conflicts.
  This surely helps to improve the WiFi performance.
  I expect TP Link to include CCA Technology in tl wr 841n in their future upgrades 🙂

• Colour LED Display:

  Also one more thing I don’t like for TP Link models is same color display LED’s for all functions ! I think clear distinction like i-Ball routers with Blue color LED for WiFi, Red for Internet etc gives you idea of status from a distance [Being located in top corners normally in homes]
